Privacy policy
EXV Watch, run by EXV Media. Last updated October 22, 2026.
This page explains what EXV Watch collects, what it does with it, and how you can have it removed. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
What we collect
- If you sign in with Google (EXV Media staff): your name, email address and profile picture.
- Videos and what comes with them: the recordings staff make, their titles, comments left on them, and transcripts and summaries made from the audio.
- If you watch a video: that a view happened, when, and details your browser sends, such as approximate location and device type. You do not need an account to watch.
Google account access
Staff sign in with Google. The app asks for your basic profile and one Drive permission, called drive.file. That permission lets EXV Watch create and read only the video files it saves in your Drive. It cannot see, open or change any other file there.
We use your Google data only to sign you in and to store and play your videos. We do not use it for anything else.
EXV Watch's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We use Google user data only to provide the sign-in and video storage features you see in the app.
- We do not transfer it to others, except to run the service as described below, to follow the law, or for security.
- We do not use it for ads, and we do not sell it.
- People at EXV Media read your Drive files only if you ask us to, for security, or because the law requires it.
Who else handles data
These providers process data only to run EXV Watch:
- Oracle Cloud hosts the server and database in the United States.
- Google stores the video files in the Drive of the person who recorded them.
- Tinybird receives view counts and basic viewing details.
- AssemblyAI receives a video's audio to make the transcript.
- Groq receives transcript text to write titles and summaries.
How long we keep it
We keep videos, comments and view records until the video is deleted. Deleting a video in the app removes it and its record. Account details stay for as long as the account exists.
Your choices
- Staff can delete any of their videos in the app at any time.
- You can remove EXV Watch's Drive access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- To remove a video, a comment or an account, or to ask what we hold about you, email exvotofilms@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
